Testimonials: 2009-2010 Season
The pace of the weekend was just right. Plenty of time to reflect, pray, walk and relax.
Always need to improve my prayer life. Great to have a refresher. Some new ideas to incorporate.
The retreat was a good measuring stick to evaluate where I am and what I need to do to follow Jesus.
The accomodations were very nice; new windows, lamps, wall light switches, bed linens, ceiling fans and a mint on the pillow!
I learned the open relationship from contemplative prayer. I need that. I need to stop always being in control, planning my 8th grade religious formation.Now I need to 'rest in God' and let the Holy Spirit do the planning.
The grounds are very inspiring.
A great need in my life at this time, to learn more about prayer and how much God loves me.
(the retreat) makes me feel very good because formal prayer has never been my cup of tea.
