How to Help
Capuchin Retreat depends on volunteer help as a main source of "income." Your talents and time save us money and offer you the chance to participate in the ministry of the center. We have many ways in which you can help us. Here are some opportunities for you to be involved. This list is not comprehensive! Offer us whatever talents and/or financial aid you can and know it is appreciated.
Prayer:
- A gift we appreciate from everyone. Praying for all who participate in the ministry of Capuchin Retreat throughout the year.
Active Volunteering:

- Painting indoor
- Making new signs for the paths on the grounds
- Painting, outdoor
- Electrical, plumbing, woodwork, etc.
- Preparing mailings (stuffing envelopes, etc)
Donations:
- Monetary donations for the ongoing upkeep of Capuchin Retreat
- Memorial bench ($250)
- Memorial pavers $150 & $200
- Tree of life $1,500 up to $100,000
- Memorial tree ($150) IMMEDIATE NEED
- Scenic pictures of Capuchin Retreat for private rooms. ($100) IMMEDIATE NEED
- Memorialize a private room refurbished ($2,000)

Many people have asked if there are other ways they can help Capuchin Retreat in its ministry of spirituality and hospitality. Here are some ways available.
- A Gift through Your Will - Making a bequest in your will is a great way to leave a gift when your current situation leaves you on a tight budget and unable to make gifts during your lifetime.
- A Gift Annuity - When you make a contribution towards a gift annuity, you will receive income for life, a charitable income tax deduction, in addition to making a gift to Capuchin Retreat.
- A Gift of Life Insurance - When you name Capuchin Retreat as the beneficiary of your life insurance (or as a co-beneficiary), you can make a wonderful gift by making modest insurance premium payments during your lifetime.
- Honor or Tribute Gifts - You may make a donation to Capuchin Retreat on special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries or holidays. Also, "In Memory Gifts" are received most often in the passing of a loved one. With these types of donations, we will send a letter to those you designate to notify them of your gift in their honor.
