This hidden secret of nature's beauty has over 22 paths that cross through the woods and plains of the property. Enjoy the sight and sounds of the bridged pond with a fountain, There are outdoor stations of the cross (a prayerful path for reflecting on the passion of Jesus Christ) and a labyrinth for meditative walk. A fenced-in reflection garden is bursting with a variety of flowers. The many benches and swings throughout the grounds allow for restful appreciation of the sounds and smells of creation. A gazebo gives a peaceful hide-a-way and the many flower beds and variety of trees and bushes enrich the area Discover the many shrines of Mary, Francis and other saints in unique settings on the 95 acres.
As a Catholic ministry, rooted in the Spirit of the Franciscan tradition of hospitality, simplicity, and the Christian Gospel, Capuchin Retreat welcomes people of all faith traditions and those searching to 'fill the void' in their lives.

Capuchin Friars Jerry, Ken and John are joined by Sister Joanne in offering spiritual nourishment, through prayers, lectures, healing service, and sacraments during the theme retreats. They are also available for spiritual direction and directed retreats.
Supporting this ministry are Friars Joe & Patrick, along with Rose Ann, Steve, Katie, Tom and the kitchen staff. All help to provide a restful, clean, nurturing environment. They look after the many details that allow you to put your worries aside and to have quiet time.
